I often heard in interviews the question 'would you do anything different in your life if you could?'. And more often than not, the interviewees answer 'no' to that - which I really find quite unbelievable.
I guess the main point is first to define the question: would I have my current knowledge back there or not?
If not, the question is back to the matter of determinism which you believe in - in a perfect deterministic world, of course you would do exactly the same ...
If I could take my current knowledge back with me to a previous point of my life - of course I would do things differently. I find it most disturbing and unbelievable, when people say differently in response to the question - didn't they learn a single thing in their life? Did they already as a child know all what follows from your actions? And they never happpened to make a mistake in their life?
