Inspired by #generativehut’s Flow week on Instagram
For the raindrops I was trying to capture the Dispersion of water waves, i.e., the characteristic ripple effect that results from the dependency of the wavelength of a wave on its phase speed. In deep water (relative to the wavelength), waves with larger wavelength move faster than waves with shorter wavelength.
This is captured here only to a limited extend though, not with the correct Fourier analysis approach for a realistic dip.
